Distinguished Teaching Awards


Students, alumni, faculty and staff members are invited to submit nominations for the Distinguished Teaching Award. To be eligible, a faculty member must have been on a full-time teaching contract at any Kent State campus for at least seven years, including the current academic year. During that time, nominees must have taught at least one course in two of the three semesters during each of the seven years. (For the purpose of the award, summer sessions are considered one semester.)

Former Distinguished Teaching Award recipients are not eligible. Please include as much information in your nomination as possible. Organized campaigning for a faculty member is discouraged and is to the nominee's disadvantage. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).
